Let’s get this bloggin’ started

I’m just posting up my first blog entry now. We’ll get this thing offically started. Slow day at work I guess.

Next I’ll post some pictures of the area before I leave.The true purpose of this blog of course is for me to keep in touch with friends and family during my 2 year sojourn in Samoa for the Peace Corps. I’ll be leaving for my staging event in LA on Monday, Oct. 6. The next day I’ll be flying to Apia, the capitol of Samoa, and I’ll be staying there for the next 3 months for training. Naturally I’ll have a little of the time approaches, for the meantime I’m enjoying my last days in Amherst. Tomorrow is my brithday, and the day after I’ll be attending my sending off party.
